The past year went by in a flash. In the Spring my Exhibt Moments at McGuffey Art Center was based on texpanding upon the ink frequency patterns I had been experimenting with and then merging them with pours and acrylic based pigment washes. The remainder of the year I worked mostly with acrylic pigments on canvas, concentrating on lines, color and proportion mixed in with the idea of investigating a single moment in time begun with my previous ink work. I did return to oil paints a few times, on of which was to participate in the September "Flow" event along the Rivanna River. I had a great time knive painting and left with a couple of abstract landscapes I was pretty excited about.
At the start of this year, 2020, I am finishing up some mimimal acylic paintings that will be featured in the McGuffey Art Center's shop in March. I will throw in a few realistic paintings for that mini exhibit as well. Pretty excited about what I am working on!

Had the best time painting a mini 6 x 6" tractor! It is fun to alternate between the abstract monochromatics and the colorful realist representations
